Oregon Food Bank – In 2017, the Helping Hands Committee will be organizing quarterly volunteer events with the Oregon Food Bank. Our volunteers help with the repackaging of perishable food at the local food distribution center. The first quarter event was a success as our volunteers helped to repackage 9,576 lbs of perishable food that helped to make 7,980 meals.

SOLVE –Stop Oregon Litter and Vandalism is a non-profit organization that helps to restore Oregon’s natural spaces. The Helping Hands Committee will be coordinating an event for the Summer of 2017 to volunteer with this local organization.

KIVA – Quiktrak’s initial loan made to Kiva of $475 continues to provide opportunities for others. To date, the initial loan has resulted in 85 loans for a total of $2,975. Our funds have provided loans to 43 different countries and we continue to re-invest the original amount as loans are paid back.


Oregon Food Bank – In 2016, we continue our internal Garage Sale with the funds being donated to the Oregon Food Bank. We are also organizing another volunteer evening at the Oregon Food Bank for this summer. This fall we will be working on a project to aid the environment by planting trees in our community.


Oregon Food Bank

In 2015 we held a Quiktrak garage sale where IT and other goods that needed to be disposed of were sold with the proceeds benefiting the Oregon Food Bank.  The project was done in conjunction with having a food drive that also served to benefit OFB.  For more information, visit their website.

Camp Courage

In fall 2014 Quiktrak supported Camp Courage. We supported Marines worldwide by collecting toiletries, snacks, books, etc. Camp Courage included these items in their care packages sent to Marines in the US and internationally. For more information, visit their website.
